Greetings audience!
Lucky for you, we're having a meeting tomorrow (Wednesday, 12/15/10)!
By now, you should have either developed your film OR placed your digital pictures on a flash/usb/email/other storage device!
If you haven't, that is OK! Tomorrow will also be a work day. so you'll have plenty of enough time to start and finish all of that.
Tomorrows Agenda (3:00 to 4:00ish, After School):
Film Users:
1. Develop film
2. Information of what to do next will be told at the meeting!
Digital Users:
1. Transfer pictures onto computer using your own specified storage device (IE: Email, USB, etc).
2a. Doing things with said pictures on the computer.
2b. Information of what to do next will be told at the meeting!
WHAT TO BRING:
Your CAMERA!
Developing tank IF you have one!
Other supplies needed to get the job done.

The Next Meeting: a Workshop Adventure
So, we WILL be having a meeting this Wednesday (12/08/10)!
It will be just a workshop, with a 5 minute PowerPoint at the beginning. After the PowerPoint, you will be able to walk around the school and take pictures! Remember, try to get pictures of both the inside AND out of the school!
Well, that's about that! Remember, if you want an official Photography Club T-shirt, make sure you email us with you size and name! (That is, if you haven't already indicated whether or not you wanted one on the last sign-out sheet)
Well, that's really it. Please see one of the presidents for more information!
WHAT TO BRING:
Your Camera (any Camera you have, actually)
Black & White Film for your Camera IF you're using an SLR (This is VERY important)
Paper & Pencil (You don't have to, but it is recommended)

Summary of the 12/1/2010 Meeting of the ALHS Photo Club
If you were unfortunate enough to miss last meeting, then do not fear!
A simple summary would be....
1. Another introductory for new members.
This is pretty self explanatory.
2. An overview of all of our websites and such.
This is also self explanatory.
3. Our ties to Flickr.com
We have a new photo-uploading system that incorporates Flickr.com

Stay tuned for more information.
4. Tee-shirt details.
Shirts will cost $12.00 each. They will be in sizes Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large.
If you have yet to order one, and would like to, please email the club at alhsphotoclub@gmail.com stating that you want one, while including your shirt size. In due time, we will share a deadline and collect payments!
5.Teaching the newer people of the basic mechanics in the darkroom.
We covered the surface of developing prints with the "noobs" of the group. c:
6. Beginning our NEW PROJECT.
The foundation of our project will be based on pictures of the Avon Lake High School.
These pictures are NOT to include actual people. You will ONLY be shooting "scenery", for lack of a better word, of the school grounds. This will include Inside, and/or out. The due date for this project is set not next Wednesday, but the Wednesday following that! (12/15/10)
7. A new showcase of sorts.
We will finally be incorporating a brand new showcase to display all of OUR work! As of right now, we're keeping things under-wraps until we get a solid plan going. When we know, we'll be sure to notify you.
Well, thats about that! If you have any questions, don't be afraid to email us OR see us individually! We would LOVE to help you guys.
Oh, and one last thing: DON'T FORGET! The Idea/Suggestion box is always open for your guys' ideas and/or suggestions. This club isn't just about us; the club is about you guys, too.

Once More Unto the Breach
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you're enjoying your Holidays!
Anyway, I just would like to remind you all about the project you guys have this break.
The goal is to take pictures of "things" that represent the Holidays. These "things", of course, are entirely up to you! The maximum picture count was somewhere around 50, but I doubt anyone will go past 36.
If you do not have an SLR, then don't worry! For now, just use a digital camera, or something. c:

we aren't exactly sure what the price will be, but we will let you know soon. we will order them as soon as possible to fundraise money for the club.
